TEKKEN World Tour 2026: Registration, Leaderboards, Global Finals and LCQ Guide

How to enter TEKKEN World Tour 2026 before the October 27 deadline, select your region, earn Global/Regional points, qualify for Singapore and register for the Last Chance Qualifier.

TEKKEN World Tour 2026: Registration, Leaderboards, Global Finals and LCQ Guide

TEKKEN World Tour 2026 player registration remains open until October 27, 2026 at 06:59 AM PDT. The tour is offline-event-only and uses a Global Leaderboard plus 15 Regional Leaderboards to send much of the field to the Global Finals in Singapore. There is also a separate Last Chance Qualifier route, with LCQ competitor registration open through December 15. The practical detail many players miss is that tour registration, individual event registration, and LCQ registration are different steps. This guide walks through the official process, eligibility, points system and the routes into the January finals.

1) Tour registration and event registration are different

Tour registration happens in the Esports Tournament Portal and connects your identity to TWT points and rankings. You still register separately for each offline tournament through the organizer's bracket platform. Registering for TWT does not automatically enter you into events, while playing an event without the required portal registration/linking can prevent points from appearing in the Rankings.

2) Player registration deadline

The player registration window opened April 23, 2026 and closes October 27 at 06:59 AM PDT. The tour itself runs May 1 through November 15. Because registration closes before the season ends, waiting for the final tournament is too late.

3) How to register

Create or use a Bandai Namco ID, enter the TEKKEN Esports Tournament Portal, choose TEKKEN World Tour 2026 under Current Leagues/Tours, select the appropriate region, accept the terms and complete Register. Then connect the tournament systems you plan to use. The official player guide covers start.gg and Tonamel because organizers may use either.

4) How region selection works

Choose the region where you will reside and participate in Dojos during TWT 2026. For Regional Leaderboard purposes you must be physically located and a legal resident of a country in that region, and you may be asked for documentation. You receive Regional Leaderboard points only in your selected region.

5) Türkiye and the MEA 3 region

Schedule 1 of the official rules places Turkey in Region 8 — MEA 3 alongside countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. The schedule also warns that a country's appearance in the regional chart does not by itself guarantee prize eligibility if separate legal restrictions apply.

6) Core eligibility

Players must be of the age of majority in the jurisdiction where the tournament is located or have explicit parent/guardian permission. They must be legal residents of an eligible Territory, possess valid government-issued identification, not be prohibited by applicable sanctions and remain compliant with the tournament rules and game EULA. Players are responsible for visas and entry requirements when travel is required.

7) Global Leaderboard scoring

The Global Leaderboard counts your best four placements across Master+ and Master events combined, best two Challenger placements and best two Global Dojo placements. You can enter more events than those totals; the ranking keeps the best results in each category. Global points can be earned at eligible events from any region.

8) Regional Leaderboard scoring

Regional ranking counts your best six Regional Dojo placements in your selected region. You may play more than six Dojos, but only the six strongest placements count. If you qualify through both Global and Regional rankings, the Global route takes priority and the regional slot rolls down to the next eligible player.

9) Event tiers and remaining dates

TWT 2026 features three Master+ events, nine Master events, plus Challenger and Dojo events. Master+/Master are high-value offline stops, Challenger events award points deeper into community competition, and approved local Dojos feed both the ecosystem and regional rankings. Dojo applications close October 16 at 06:59 AM PDT, and the final day to host a Dojo is October 25.

10) Who qualifies for the Global Finals?

The official rules describe 36 qualified players across several routes. Global ranks 1–4 go directly to the Final Bracket. Global ranks 5–16 join a 16-player Global Group Stage together with the three Master+ winners and the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2026 champion. Fifteen players qualify as the #1 player from each Regional Leaderboard, and one final player comes from the LCQ. Duplicate qualification slots are reallocated under the rules.

11) Singapore dates and venue

The TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals take place January 14–17, 2027 at Marina Bay Sands Singapore as part of Evo Singapore. January 14 is the Regional Leaderboard Group Stage, January 15 the Global Leaderboard Group Stage, January 16 the Last Chance Qualifier, and January 17 the Final Bracket.

12) Last Chance Qualifier registration

The LCQ awards the final seat in the Final Bracket, and only the LCQ winner advances through that route. The Finals page says competitor registration is open and closes December 15, 2026. Bandai Namco's finals announcement also says players who did not qualify or did not survive their Global Finals group stage can battle in the LCQ, subject to the event's final eligibility and registration requirements.

13) Final Bracket format

The 16-player Final Bracket consists of the Global top four, eight players advancing from the Global Group Stage, three winners from the Regional Group Stage and the LCQ winner. It is double elimination. Earlier Top 16 matches are best-of-three, while the Top 8 stages move to best-of-five under the official rules.

14) Global Finals prize pool

The official rules list a $300,000 Global Finals prize pool. First place in the Top 16 pays $100,000, second $60,000, third $30,000 and fourth $15,000, with additional payouts for lower Top 16 placements and players finishing in the Global and Regional group stages.

15) What to do now

If you are not yet registered for the tour, create your Bandai Namco ID and complete ETP registration before October 27, then select the correct region and connect start.gg/Tonamel as needed. If your target is specifically the Singapore LCQ, complete the separate finals/LCQ registration before December 15 and handle travel requirements early. Keep checking the live leaderboard because points are finalized only after event approval and verification.
